This is a recipe for the best vegan chocolate cake. The cake is vegan, healthy, easy to prepare and without refined sugar. I sweetened the cake with date syrup. You can use any other syrup or sugar but for me date syrup is the best option because dates are high in fiber and have minerals and vitamins in contrast to refined sugar.
The best vegan chocolate cake
- 200 g of almond flour
- 100 g of spelt flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- ½ tsp of baking soda
- 25 g of cacao powder
- 150 ml of date syrup
- 30 g of natural oil
- 100 g of darf chocolate 85%
- 300 ml oat milk
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree.
- Heat the chocolate, the oil and the oat milk in a pot and mix until well combined. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the date syrup to the wet ingredients and stir togehter. Combine the dry ingretients and the wet and mix until a smooth dough come out.
- Grease a loaf pan and add the dough. Bake the cake for about 18-20 minutes. Let the cake cool down and let it fall out of the loaf pan. Powder the cake with cacao powder and serve.
